The OZoola Beach Tent gives families generous shade without the weight and bulk of traditional beach shelters. Starting at just ~1.6 kg, it packs into a compact 50 cm carry bag, making it easy to take to the beach, park, camping trips or family holidays.
Made with UPF 50+ fabric, the OZoola Beach Tent provides excellent protection from the Australian sun while its open design allows air to move naturally through the shelter.
No complicated frame or heavy structure. Fill the four sandbags, stretch the canopy, insert the poles and your beach shade is ready in under three minutes.
Standard Beach Tent — 1.5 m × 2 m
Comfortably fits 2–3 people with two poles.
Family Beach Tent — 2 m × 2 m
Comfortably fits 3–6 people depending on the pole configuration.
Add the optional second set of poles to increase usable shade and create an even more open setup.
The flexible canopy and sand-anchor design allow air to flow through the shelter rather than trapping it inside. Four weighted sandbags help keep the tent securely anchored during normal beach conditions.
Unlike enclosed pop-up beach tents, OZoola keeps the sides open. You can enjoy the ocean breeze, see the beach around you and keep an eye on children without sitting inside an enclosed shelter.
Washing: Handwash in cold water with gentle soap. Avoid using bleach to preserve color and fibers.
Drying: Hang on a clothesline in a breezy area. Be sure to secure the tent to prevent it from blowing away!
Fabric Softener: Not required. Our tents are already super-soft!
Ironing: Not required. Once set up in the sun, any creases will disappear!
Additional Tips: Shake out before packing away after use to remove sand and any other items that may dirty or damage the tent.

Love it! Super light weight and packs down really small. Simple to set up and easy to adjust it how you want it. My 8 year old carries it down sets it up and packs it up all herself. Provides enough shade to have break out of the sun without being enormous and overbearing like other popular shelters. We had it set up in strong wind too and it was fine.

We loved this tent! We bought a few with friends for a surf trip. It packs into a small bag so we took it in our carry-on. It’s made of strong, smooth material, and the compact carry case makes it easy to transport. After watching the setup videos, we had it up in no time. Five stars from us. Such a great tent! We love it. We used to have an umbrella but it kept falling apart on windy days. This tent holds nicely. Note that you must use a lot of sand for the bags. The setup is easy peasy and takes only a couple of minutes if you follow the instructions. As a young mum, I am in love

No doubt its a grt product. Test and trialled in the harshest conditions of beaches at central coast. I added few cheap sandbags to the poles, it helps. I infact might want to buy just few more poles, if i need to use all all 4 corners. But its just fine with 2 poles as well. Alot of people were looking at it, as this was the only ozoola tent i have seen here. I loved this innovation. Once u get used to using, its very easy setup.

This is my second time purchasing an Ozoola tent and I can’t be more happy. We just wanted to have an extra one because our family got bigger! So easy to set up and take down. Love everything about this sun shade. Bought it from a recommendation from a friend now a few of us have matching ones and be can link them up for some big beach days. Takes a minute to figure of the angles and what way to position it in the wind but it holds up better than any other shade on the beach. Plus so light and compact. Love

I am fairly disappointed with the beach tent. I expected something a little more robust and quality, but it seems cheaply made. I do understand its meant to be a light weight option and that's why we went with this one. We bought the beach tent for our trip around WA and it did not hold up to even light winds, the website states wind resistant. The fabric used is standard lycra, which is too stretchy. A sturdier fabric is needed as this one stretches in the wind, no matter how you set it up. You could at least include 4 poles to help the thing stay up! Also poles are too cheap, I managed to bend one from pushing it into hard sand. Would not recommend... Alex
This shelter is great. It is simple to put up, very light weight and provides more shade than a beach umbrella and can stand up to a decent wind.
It will be perfect for our next holiday to Perth and Cook Islands Light and small enough to fit into our suitcase
I love this tent because it’s so light and easy to set up, my kids and husband help me with it and it’s set up in a flash. It’s miles better than the fold up plastic box type tents we used to have. This one feels cool and breezy and in tune with nature. Best purchase I’ve made for summer!
