How many people can sit under the tent?
With our standard tent, 2-3 people can sit comfortably with 2 poles. Increase this to 4 poles and 3-4 people can enjoy the shade. With our Family tents, 3-4 people can sit comfortably with 2 poles and 4-6 people with 4 poles.
Does the OZoola tents meet the Australia and New Zealand standards for sun protection?
Of course! Our fabric meets the AS/NZS4399 standard which is the Australian and New Zealand standard for sun protection. Our high quality fabric was tested and ranked with a UPF rating of 50+ which qualifies this material for the UPF Excellent protection category*.
*Remember, the UV protection you get under our beach shades is not a replacement for personal sun protection. We urge you to use your OZoola beach tent in combination with other sun protection measures.
Can I take my OZoola beach tent on vacation?
Absolutely, OZoola beach tents are lightweight, compact and perfectly fit in a carry-on bag. When the tent is packed in the carry bag, it is only 50cm long, 10cm in diameter and weight only 1.8kg. When on holiday, don’t forget to send us photos and tag us!
On a windy day, what is the best advice to easily assemble the tent?
First, use plenty of sand for the sand bags, as much as you can. Second, give a good stretch from each corner to make sure the tent is nice and taught. When raising with the poles, make sure you place the poles in the direction of the wind so the tent inflates.
Can I wash the fabric?
Yes! You can wash the fabric in a cold wash, we recommend hand wash. The fabric is sand resistant so a quick shake before packing should be enough. We do not recommend machine drying though. No iron, no bleech.
Should I purchase an extra set of poles?
OZoola beach tents were designed for optimal performance with just the two poles that are included in each kit. An extra pair of poles allows users to expand the shade area and level the entire beach shade. The additional set of poles is nice to have but not a must.
How does the shipping work?
Free delivery Australia wide for all order above $119. New-Zealand orders are flat rate delivery of 40 AUD.
What’s your return policy?
Returns Please be mindful when purchasing online as colours may vary from screen to product purchased. If you are unsure about the colour of a certain product, please email info@ozoola.com.au and we will be happy to help.
We are confidant you will be happy with our product! If you do wish to return, we accept returns of unopened products within 21 days of receiving the product. Please note that we only offer exchanges on "change of mind" goods, if the item has been unopened, unused and in their original packaging at the shipping cost of the purchaser. Once your Return has been approved please post your item along with your Order Confirmation Number to : Unit 2/42 Carrington Rd, Castle Hill NSW 2154
